My name is Aristidis Sotiropoulos and I was a PhD student at the Computer Engineering Department of the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. I came to Athens in January 1999. Before that, I was with ICS-FORTH and Computer Science Department at the University of Crete, Greece.

My main research interests are High Performance Local Area Networks and Parallel Systems. I am also interested in Operating Systems, Computer Architecture and Parallel Computer Architecture.

I am a member of Computing Systems Laboratory headed by prof. G. Papakonstantinou. My research advisor is associate prof. Nectarios Koziris.
