Creation of a news portal using the company's Content Management Tool, called eCentric. Development and configuration of a mechanism for personalized newsletter creation and mailing. The users during their subscription are able to select from a list of news categories, thus filtering the newsletter to contain only the news they are interested in.
What is more, a Banner Manager Tool was installed and integrated with the site's content management tool, so that the site administrators can easily create and add banners and monitor their hits or click - through rate. What is more, they can add content - specific banners.

These portals were created using eCentric (company's CMS). The user - author can add content at the site using eCentric's admin Tool, and he can publish a newsletter with information from the site.

Development of a time tracking system

The purpose of this project was the development of a web - based time - tracking system, for the company's Intranet. The user was able to make a detailed list of the projects he was involved, how much time he spent for each one, and what type of work this was (development - project management, etc).
The user can save his timesheet, and edit it later. The system has also copy - paste functionality, making it more user - friendly.
What is more, an in memory database (XML) was used, so that the database access was limited, thus increasing the application's performance.
Report functionality for the time tracking system

Creation of a web based reporting tool for the time tracking system. This reporting tool was developed as a visual Basic activex component. This activex component was integrated into a web page, making it accessible by almost any web browser.
The users could make their reports and filter their results with a great number of criteria. What is more, the users could export their results into excel files. The system had a number of user roles (simple users, project managers, supervisors), so that the reporting functionality could be restricted.
iperform development

Participation in the development of a Workflow System of the company, called iPerform. The technology which is used is J2EE, Jboss server. The program has a workflow designer, where the author can create his workflow scenarios and add the logic thought a graphical user interface. What is more, the system can integrate with other workflow, erp or in general business systems, as it supports web services. The system is integrated with a form designer, where the user can create his forms using a gui.
The system is currently used by TIM and Piraeus Bank.
